We are recruiting for a Quality Conformance Engineer to join an established Manufacturing business based in the Coventry area. The Conformance Engineer will report into the Quality Manager and will be responsible forensuring that customer requirements and expectations are accurately identified to meet customer and company requirements.
As the Quality Conformance Engineer you will be required too:
* Assessing the product in accordance with specifications and customer requirements
* 3D scanning of products for production, development and new parts
* Carry out visual & dimensional quality checks
*Assist with material movement
* Carry out dimensional checks as required
* Carry out dimensional checks
* Inspect and verify product quality
*Problem solving and putting corrective actions in place
Requirements:
*Experience & knowledge of production processes
* A good understanding of metrology & GD&T (Customer drawings and specifications)
*Experience of 3D product scanning (Faro Arm/handheld scanners)
*Experience in CNC Machining/aluminium die castings)
* CMM experience
* Analytical and attention to detail
* Able to lift heavy items
* Experience in a manufacturing (Automotive) environment would be an advantage
