Project Quality Engineer responsibilities include -
- Manage project time lines, budgets, and resources, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Drive design for manufacturing and product quality, including prototype development and testing.
- Oversee tooling, supplier relationships, and procurement, including contract negotiations.
- Ensure product compliance and manage new program releases and engineering changes.
- Control costs and drive value engineering initiatives to maximise efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Help to drive continuous improvement activities.
- Experience in a similar role - Quality Project Engineer, etc.
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.
- Knowledge of QMS, such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
- Able to use core tools such as 8D, APQP, PPAP, and Control Plans.
- Experience leading a project and ability to monitor budgets.
- Starting salary circa 55,000 plus bonus scheme.
