We are delighted to represent a dynamic multi-disciplined practice currently seeking a flexible, talented Project Landscape Architect for a permanent role at their head office in Coventry.
Role Overview
The practice is involved in a broad range of projects across all stages for both public and private sector organisations. The successful candidate will work closely with a vibrant team of Landscape Architects and master planners on diverse assignments. As well as collaborating with the architecture and urban design teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Involvement: Engage in a variety of projects from initial concept to final execution.
- Team Collaboration: Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and coordinate with the in-house landscape support team.
- Design & Planning: Assist on large residential and mixed-use masterplans by developing concept designs, strategic plans, and detailed illustrations to support design principles.
- Documentation: Contribute to the production of LVIA and Vision Documents for strategic sites.
- Construction Support: Aid the project lead during the detailed design and construction phases by drafting construction details and production drawings.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Educational Background: A Landscape Architecture PG Dip or Masters from a recognized UK institution. Candidates with an exceptional track record and strong portfolio may also be considered.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in residential and mixed-use developments, public realm improvements, and infrastructure projects.
- Design Excellence: A strong design background within a consultancy setting, with the ability to produce high-quality hand drawings and maintain a keen eye for detail.
- Project Management: Demonstrated project management skills, supported by collaborative work within a wider landscape team.
- Communication: Excellent written communication and presentation skills, with an active interest in community engagement.
Qualifications:
- Academic Requirements: Bachelor's in Landscape Architecture, with a Masters or PG Dip preferred.
