You will work closely with customs officials, brokers, and customers to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and timely delivery of goods. This position requires a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:

Documentation Management: Prepare and review import/export documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customs regulations.
Customs Clearance: Assist in the preparation and submission of customs declarations, coordinating with brokers and customs officials to facilitate the clearance of shipments.
Shipment Tracking: Monitor and track the status of shipments, providing updates to clients and internal teams, and resolving any issues that may arise during transit.
Data Entry: Accurately input shipment information into the company's database, maintaining up-to-date records for all transactions.
Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries related to customs clearance, documentation requirements, and shipment status, providing timely and accurate information.
Compliance: Stay informed about changes in customs regulations and international trade laws, ensuring that all shipments comply with current policies and procedures.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any discrepancies in shipment documentation, working proactively to avoid delays in the customs clearance process.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including logistics, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless handling of shipments from origin to destination.

Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in international trade, logistics, or a related field is a plus.Experience: Previous experience in customs brokerage, logistics, or a similar role is preferred but not required.Skills:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with customs regulations and international trade laws is an advantage.
