This business pride themselves on delivering exceptional service their valued customers. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Administrator to join their finance team. If you have a passion for numbers, accuracy, and efficiency, this could be the perfect role for you. You will be joining their small, organised Account Payable team and reporting directly into the department Manager.This position has an annual salary of up to £25,000.Duties Include:

  • Process a high volume of supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Verify invoice details against purchase orders, contracts, and receipts.
  • Prepare and process payments by cheque, direct debit, or bank transfer.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and maintain communication with suppliers regarding payment status.
  • Assist with month-end closing tasks and reports.
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records, including filing and document management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues relating to invoicing and payments.
  • Taking on other ad hoc duties and supporting your team.

Required and desired skills/attributes:

  • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • High level of accuracy and efficiency in data entry.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist other team members when needed.
