Our client is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Legal Cashier to join their team in Coventry. This role offers an attractive salary of £31,000 and the opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive environment. Your primary responsibilities will include bank reconciliations, daily banking, processing client bills, and managing petty cash among other duties. You'll have the chance to utilise your understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as your knowledge of Solicitors Financial Rules. This role requires a high standard of accuracy, the ability to work under pressure, and excellent interpersonal skills.

What you'll do:

As a Legal Cashier, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial order within the organisation. Your day-to-day tasks will involve handling various banking operations such as bank reconciliations and daily banking. You will also be responsible for processing client bills, completing inter account transfers, and managing petty cash. Additionally, you will be tasked with producing month end reports to P/L- TB and controlling the Purchase Ledger. Your role will also require you to complete archive/matter close routines diligently.

* Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis* Handle daily banking tasks efficiently* Process client bills accurately and promptly* Complete inter account transfers diligently* Manage petty cash control and reconciliation* Produce month end reports to P/L- TB* Post and control Purchase Ledger* Complete archive/matter close routines diligently
