Butler Rose is working alongside our large Housing Association client based in Coventry who are in their search for an Accounting Technician to join their growing Cashbook team. This is a temporary role until the end of March 2025 and is paying up to £12.54 PAYE / £16.64 Umbrella an hour dependant on experience. Hybrid working arrangement is one day in the office per week but will be full time in office for initial training etc. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, and supporting income systems. Your work will ensure the timely and correct handling of financial information, providing crucial support to both internal and external customers. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and reconcile financial ledgers, post journals, and analyse data. Process income and payments according to deadlines. Provide ongoing support for cashbook and income processing systems. Collaborate with team members to meet performance goals. Provide accurate information for internal and external audits. Essential Skills & Experience: AAT student or similar qualification (desirable). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the ability to meet customer needs. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
