Role Objective
Our client is seeking an experienced PMO Analyst to support the successful delivery of change initiatives using both traditional and agile methodologies. This role will enhance Project & Portfolio Management capability by implementing best-practice frameworks and standards while ensuring accurate and insightful reporting at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse project data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve project performance, including reporting at Strategic and Board levels.
- Develop and maintain project dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools.
- Create and embed fit-for-purpose frameworks, standards, and templates to support both traditional and agile project management.
- Drive consistency in project governance through the support and management of selected tools.
- Deliver training and coaching sessions to the Change Community.
- Facilitate workshops and governance forums.
- Maintain resource profiles at a departmental level and contribute to continuous improvement of PMO services.
- Support the maturing of project controls through direct collaboration with deployed PMO Support.
- Manage and maintain the departmental SharePoint site.
- Provide cover for PMO Support and PMO Manager roles when required.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering professional development.
Required Experience & Skills
- Extensive experience in a PMO environment at an Enterprise/Portfolio level, supporting both traditional and agile methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of data analytics and experience with Power Apps for reporting and insights.
- Proven track record of documenting, training, and embedding new ways of working.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience mentoring and coaching junior team members and supporting the wider change community.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract and manipulate data to generate insightful reports.
- Proficiency in MS Office and a range of project management tools.
- Highly self-motivated with strong planning, organisation, and coordination skills.

- PRINCE2 Practitioner
- Degree or equivalent experience
