Inspection Manager
 Up to £40,000 basic per annum DOE
Coventry based
40 hours per week Monday to Friday
We are seeking a skilled and professional inspection manager to join an existing inspection and quality team to help both the commercial and production areas for a Coventry-based precision manufacturer. The role of inspection manager is critical and involves managing all customer quotes, orders & production activities throughout the company, whilst ensuring all company targets are met and quality procedures are to customer's specifications and satisfaction.
The role of inspection manager would suit someone with a proven track record in quality inspection in previous roles done first/last off inspection and has experience with the use of all inspection equipment i.e. verniers, micrometers, CMM, hardness and tensile testing etc.
Responsibilities-
- work with other employees to ensure quality and standards are maintained at all times
- adhere to company quality procedures as per QMS
- the management of product quality is effective
- you work closely with the quality manager
- the timely and effective to resolution to any quality issues and that all outcomes of any investigations are communicated correctly to the stakeholder of the NCR, Customer, Supplier or Employee
- that you assist and resolve technical problems as and when they arise
- no paperwork is lost or damaged whilst under your control
- all paperwork is read and actioned correctly
- undertake any reasonable management request
- attend weekly staff meetings and production meetings when requested
- work flexibly where possible to support the business when needed
- attend any training as requested to help you upskill in the workplace
- ensure H&S rules and regulations are always adhered to
- all components must be clearly identified at all times with the use of a Route Card
- All paperwork is completed throughout all processes
