In Building Safety & Compliance you can make a real difference, the role of Commercial & Oversight Officerwill involve:
- Supporting the Commercial & Operational team through prioritising, organising and monitoring the servicing, repair and maintenance programmes, focussed on maintaining statutory compliance and the performance targets set.
- Liaising with colleagues, suppliers and contractors to resolve technical and financial queries and those relating to operational activities relating to repair, maintenance and installation contracts to a high standard, whilst continually promoting improvement.
- Consistently monitoring that the allocated budgets remain within the approved spend limits, raise purchase orders, seek appropriate authorisation and track completions and payments through the finance system.
- Managing and monitoring relevant data and systems to a high standard to ensure regulatory and legislative 'assurance’ at all times.
As a Commercial & Oversight Officer we need you to have:
- Basic qualification in Maths and English.
- Have good leadership skills.
- Experience of working within a technical administrative function.
- Experience in managing transaction records with the ability to identify items that have been added or omitted to the incorrect cost centre.
- Experience of using computer systems, analysing data, and on-going updating and maintaining data using Microsoft packages including word, outlook and excel.

- Have or be working towards a level 6 Diploma in Fire Safety for Construction & Building Safety.
- Have good leadership skills.
- Desire to learn and develop in the role
