At GI Group, we are currently recruiting for Class 1 drivers for our client in Lutterworth , LE17. With a focus on reliability and excellence in service, we are currently seeking a dedicated Class 1 Driver's to join us today for long-term work including the possibility of a temp-to-perm. Overview:* Delivering pallets mostly to supermarkets.* Manual hand ball included.* You must adhere to all road safety regulations and maintain high standards of professionalism. Shifts and Hours:* Monday to Friday (weekend work available) * Start Times: 17:00 pm - 20:00 pm* 10-12 h shift Rates of Pay:* Monday to Friday - £16.50 per hour * £ 18.50 overtime rate * PAYE ONLY Key Responsibilities:* Driver must do all pre driving checks* Goods will need to be checked against a delivery note * Some goods are high value and particular attention needs to be paid to these when delivering. This includes not leaving the vehicle open or unattended when delivering.* You must always remain professional.* Compliant / safe delivery of our client's products to their customers nationwide* Any problems must be communicated to the office / managers as and when they arise.* You won't be paid for 45 minutes a day for your breaks please take these.* Demonstrating good customer service always is essential. Qualifications and Experience:1. Valid Class 1 driving license with relevant certifications.2. Previous experience for at least 1 years transport essential. 3. Clean driving record and a commitment to safe driving practices.4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.6.
