Supplying to key engineering companies, our drivers are the face of business. We now have new opportunities for additional Class 2 drivers to join our ever-growing West Midlands operation. Permanent/Full time position:Basic weekly hours 40.5 per week, starting at 06:00, with overtime paid at time and half thereafter. No weekends, nights or bank holidays. 25 days holiday entitlement plus all bank holidays paid.£27,500 basic per annum (OTE £31,000 to £33,000) including overtime and profit share.The Role:* You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of our metal to various customer locations.* Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately with attention to detail.* Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.* Complete daily vehicle checks with regards to safety and keep the truck in acceptable condition.* A flexible approach to finish times as dictated by the needs of the business.* Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements.* Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.The Person:* The applicant must have had at least 2 years' experience driving a Class 2. * Up to date driver CPC* Be customer focused with the ability to maintain positive internal and external customer relationships.* Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised.* Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering 1st class customer service.* Must have good communication skills and a flexible 'can do' attitude to work.* Previous experience is desirable but, not essential as job specific training will be provided.Other Benefits:* Job security* Generous company pension scheme after qualifying period* Uniform Provided* CPC training provided once per year.* Cycle to work scheme* On-site parking"
