Job Description
The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for executing sales and marketing strategies that drive loan applications, increase CWRT’s visibility, and enhance customer engagement. This role focuses on lead generation, marketing execution, and impact reporting.
The role ensures that:
- Loan targets are met through sales activities and marketing initiatives.
- The lending team is supported in driving loan applications and customer engagement.
- Marketing campaigns are effectively delivered to increase brand awareness and borrower outreach.
- Social and economic impact is accurately measured and reported to funders and stakeholders.
Main Duties
Sales & Lending Team Leadership
- Lead the lending team to ensure loan targets are met and support their performance through training and guidance.
- Develop sales strategies to increase loan applications and conversion rates.
- Monitor lending team activities, ensuring they are proactive in generating and closing leads.
- Identify and engage potential borrowers, referral partners, and community organisations to expand CWRT’s reach.
- Work closely with funders and stakeholders to ensure lending targets align with programme objectives.
Marketing & Outreach
- Plan and deliver marketing campaigns (digital, social media, and offline) to generate interest in CWRT’s financial products.
- Manage CWRT’s brand presence through advertising, PR, and promotional materials.
- Execute social media, SEO, PPC, and email marketing campaigns to drive awareness and engagement.
- Ensure all marketing collateral and communications align with brand guidelines and compliance standards.
- Organise networking events, trade shows, and promotional activities to connect with businesses and referral partners.
- Track and analyse marketing performance metrics, making adjustments to improve results.
Lead Generation & Stakeholder Engagement
- Identify and engage potential borrowers, referral partners, and community organisations to increase loan applications.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with small businesses, financial advisors, and industry networks.
- Coordinate with local business events and community groups to promote CWRT’s services.
Impact Measurement & Reporting
- Collect and report on social and economic impact data, ensuring CWRT’s contributions are well-documented.
- Support the development of impact case studies and funding reports.
- Work with internal teams to ensure consistent data tracking and reporting to funders.
- Manage reporting on customer demographics, lending performance, and outreach effectiveness.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all marketing and lending activities comply with financial regulations and CWRT’s internal policies.
- Support the preparation of reports for senior management, funders, and regulatory agencies.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in sales, marketing, and impact reporting.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a fast-paced sales led environment
- Experience of delivering marketing campaigns
- Minimum of 2 years in a team supervisory role
- Proven track record of successful enquiry conversion
- Ability to develop and implement effective strategies that align with organisational goals
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing loan operations and documentation.
- Capable of making sound, evidence-based decisions and develops effective sales and marketing strategies.
