Our client is a proud pioneer in the cleaning & hygiene products market in the U.K. They specialize in the production and distribution of cleaning and hygiene products, particularly non-woven cleaning cloths and impregnated wipes. They are an innovative, forward thinking and trailblazing brand boasting a ISO 9001 certification indicating their dedication to delivering premium quality, premium service and premium order fulfilment times to their customers.

The role

  • Our client is looking for a sales leader to hunt for new opportunities to expand its product portfolio and manage their growing sales team.
  • As 98% of products are produced internally, expertise in manufacturing is essential.
  • A key area of focus is acquiring new accounts. The company seeks someone who can secure new business relationships while managing an established team that does not require daily supervision.
  • The role will involve managing B2B relationships, tracking KPIs (with an approximate 70/30 split between management and sales activities), and touching base regularly with the sales team.
  • The person taking on this role will have a team to manage, but the team is largely self-sufficient in day-to-day operation.

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
  • 10+ years of sales experience
  • Strong new business hunting experience
  • 3+ years of managing a sales team
  • Be able to commute to Coventry office 2-3 days a week
  • Essentially from manufacturing background
