KM Recruitment is seeking a Residential Childcare Tutor (Level 3 or 5) to deliver training in a home/field-based setting with flexible travel requirements.
The salary for this full-time, permanent position ranges from £28,500 to £32,000, depending on experience, along with a fantastic benefits package.
Candidates must hold a recognised Assessor award and a qualification in Residential Childcare at Level 3 or above, along with experience in delivering Residential Childcare Apprenticeships.
A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, and a recognised Teaching qualification is preferred.
Duties include assessing learners, supporting them with Functional Skills, managing documentation, and conducting online training sessions.

Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
Hold a recognised qualification in Residential Childcare at Level 3 or above.
Must have experience of delivering Residential Childcare Apprenticeships.
Must hold solid occupational competency at Senior level or above within a Children's Home.
Ideally hold a recognised Teaching qualification: PTLLS/AET or above.
Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships Level 3-5 (depending on competency)
Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
