Description

• As the IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will sit above the 3rd Line function, providing expert project implementation services for the company's customer base.
• Your responsibilities will cover the full stack of Microsoft technologies, whilst also encompassing areas including network, security, storage and disaster recovery.
• You will plan, manage and deploy these infrastructure projects, whilst also acting as a senior escalation point when needed for the service desk, helping to guide and support junior members of the team.
• In line with project delivery, you will produce documentation in accordance with ITIL standards.
• The role will be site-based at the company's Coventry head office, but you will also have the chance to visit customer sites where necessary.
• Due to the nature of the role being 5 days per week on-site, we are looking for candidates within a daily commute from the Coventry area.

Profile

This is a project-focused, technical position, where you will be working with all areas of core infrastructure. You will therefore have at least 3 years experience at a project level in:

• Windows Server
• Active Directory - Group Policy
• Office 365 / EntraID
• Virtualisation - VMWare / Hyper V
• Networking - firewall / security / VLAN, WAN, Wi-Fi
• Disaster Recovery

Job Offer
