About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you'll play a critical role in the design, development, and delivery of high-precision automotive components. From managing RFQs to leading the development of injection mould tooling, you'll oversee the entire project lifecycle. With responsibility for liaising with OEMs and internal teams, you'll ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
  • Early finish on Thursdays and Fridays, giving you a head start on your weekends!
Key Duties
  • Responding to RFIs & RFQs from OEMs.
  • Managing the design and development of injection mould tooling from concept through to production.
  • Preparing quotations and managing supply chain enquiries to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Tracking project progress with regular internal and external reporting, including PMST reviews and status updates.
  • Ensuring all products meet required standards for PSW (Production Sample Warrant) approval.
Key Requirements
  • Degree in mechanical or management engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within the automotive sector.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and deliverables.
  • Experience with OEMs and familiarity with injection mould tooling processes.
  • Proficiency in APQP software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Dassault Catia V5 and 3DX is highly desirable.
  • A full clean driving license is required.
