My client are looking for a maintenence operative to join the maintenance team facilitating the effective and efficient maintenance of Plant and Equipment. Primarily maintenance work on CNC, Conventional Machines and Plant

Job Details

  • Monday - Friday

  • Shift pattern, earlys and lates

  • Driving and travel are requirements of this job.

Job Duties (include but are not limited to)

  • Make corrective repairs to CNC machines, plant and equipment (appropriate training will be undertaken)
  • Implement planned corrective maintenance to restore equipment to full operational condition
  • Undertake PPM on plant and equipment, making use of any suitable diagnostic and predictive techniques to aid maintenance.
  • Provide an installation and refurbishment service for plant equipment as required to facilitate the continual improvement of company assets.
  • Train and advise other maintenance team members as appropriate, where relevant training/standards in own performance have been achieved.

Technical Requirements

  • City and Guilds, equivalent qualifications, or apprenticeship in the related fields.
  • Knowledge of plant equipment and services is essential.ie fault finding, understanding and working from machine and plant drawings / manuals.
  • Must be physically fit and prepared to walk several miles per day. Normal sight and hearing ranges are required.
  • Required to work in all areas of the site - must be prepared to work in hazardous areas.
  • Availability to be able to work Overtime when required, working in line with the Work Time Directive.
