Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Client Manager to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction while managing relationships within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a knack for analysis, and a friendly personality to work well with customers and staff. We need someone to support our clients' needs and drive business success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Prepare management accounts and related workpapers for clients within your portfolio, presenting where necessary individually or with Senior Manager/Directors
- Attend and actively contribute to planning meetings with managers
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
- Analyse client data and feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement in service delivery.
- Oversee junior staff performance and provide regular feedback to managers
- Review bookkeeping and related workpapers prepared by staff members.
- Review VAT returns and related workpapers prepared by staff members and approve for sending to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service execution and address any client issues promptly.
- Utilise Salesforce for tracking client interactions, managing accounts, and reporting on service metrics.
- Prepare regular reports on client satisfaction levels and service performance for management review.
- Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing client experience and loyalty through innovative solutions.
- Keep fully up-to-date with CPE requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a client services or account management role, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail to assess client needs and service effectiveness.
- Some management experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated and proactive in addressing client concerns.
- A degree or relevant qualification in business or finance is an advantage but not essential.
