 We are seeking a Senior Commercial Officer for Mission Critical Protection in Coventry. This is your chance to make a significant impact in the defence and security industry!

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, managing complex contracts and subcontracts for both the UK and international markets. You'll draft, negotiate, and ensure compliance with business governance and regulatory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise and take ownership of diverse commercial activities.

Main responsibilities will include:

  •  Provide day-to-day Commercial and/or Contract management on major defence Contracts.
  • Support the full project lifecycle, including RFIs, Tendering, Contract Award, and more.
  • Develop Commercial input into bids and proposals for the Sales Team.
  • Negotiate and close Contracts with customers and key Subcontractors.
  • Ensure flow down of Prime Contractual obligations to the supply chain.
  • Report on Commercial opportunities and risks, developing strategies to address them.
  • Represent the Commercial department in Customer/Subcontractor meetings.
  • Provide guidance on Commercial/Legal issues and ensure business compliance.
  • Support the Sales Team with Distributor, Reseller, and Agent Agreements.
  • Conduct Due Diligence/Sanction Screening on Third Parties.
  • Create and update Commercial processes/guidance and template documents.
  • Assist the Trade Compliance Team with UK/US Export/Import Regulations.
