Contek are working with aMachining Facility which is based in Coventry, thatcomprises of an Engineering Workshop and Design Office. Theyprovide various services relating to the Engineering Industry ranging from 1 off bespoke specialist tooling to high volume production runs.
Through growth and business acquisition,they are seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join the team on a permanent basis.
Mon-Weds 7:00-5:30pm, Thurs 7:00-4:30pm (4 day week).
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set up and operate a range ofCNCmills to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ideally proficient with Heidenhain controls programming at the machine, or ONECNC CADCAM programming.
- Performing tool and offset changes..
- Monitor machine operations to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Make adjustments to machine settings to optimize production output and minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous CNC Millerwithexperience programming, setting up and operating CNC mills is required.
- Programming with Heidenhain controls or similar.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
