The Client

Interaction Technical have partnered with a leading precision engineering firm based in Coventry on their search for a skilled CNC Miller, Setter & Programmer to join their growing team. Our client have been producing components for an array of industries, including aerospace, for over 50 years and have now reached a stage of growth in their milling department where they are looking to add to the team.

The Role

  • Program, set and operate 3 & 4 axis Haas milling machinery using Haas controls to produce precise components for a variety of industries.
  • Produce small and large batches of precise components working to extremely tight tolerances to ensure quality expectations are met.
  • Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings to produce components using a variety of materials efficiently and effectively.
  • There may be some offline programming required for the role using CAD/CAM packages – training can be offered for this
  • Follow and adhere to company Health & Safety policies and procedures.

The Requirements

  • Previous experience as a CNC Miller producing components for an array of industries, preferably aerospace (essential)
  • Proven ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings (essential)
  • Previous experience programming, setting and operating Haas machinery using Haas controls (advantageous)
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of offline programming CAD/CAM packages (advantageous)
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Willingness to train and progress
