Design Manager

£55-70k plus package

As a Design Manager you'll be responsible for…

Tender stage responsibilities –

  • Attend the launch meeting with the estimator and planner
  • Review the tender documentation in terms of design requirements
  • Liaise with consultants / design parties
  • Identify opportunities for value engineering
  • Summarise risk items that may require qualification/investigation

Contract Stage-

  • Review of the tender information package
  • Prepare and issue Information Release schedule to the construction team
  • In accordance with Lean Principles, issue information release schedule to designers and sub-contractors.
  • Prepare and formalise the appointment of the designers.
  • Review of the quotations received for the subcontract packages and provide feedback to the construction teams from a design perspective.

Must haves:

HNC/HND/Degree in Construction Management/Architecture
