Engineering Manager

Salary: Up to £50K DOE + Company Vehicle + Bonus

Day Shifts: Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm

Gi Pro are looking for an experienced hands-on Engineering Manager in Coventry for an engineering company who maintain, service and repair Electrical and Mechanical parts for various industries. The ideal candidate will come with previous experience within electrical motors and some management, supervisory or team leader experience. It's essential that the candidate shows willingness to be hands-on when required. This is a great opportunity for the right person to progress their career into management.

Job Description:

  • Consistently drive monthly sales output versus target.
  • Managing and overseeing production staff of up to 5 in total.
  • Be hands-on throughout busier times.
  • Ensure all job holder roles are clearly understood, have relevant performance metrics and that appropriate accountability is always maintained
  • Appropriate technical machining knowledge with experience in machining a variety of material types.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Needs experience of some form of management experience
  • Experience of Electrical and Mechanical motor winding and rewinding essential
  • Experience with pumps and gearboxes is essential
  • Proven practical experience of continuous improvement across a site and effectively managing staff
