The Role:
The Health & Safety Manager (part time) plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment for all employees. This position involves developing, implementing, and overseeing safety policies and procedures to comply with legal regulations and industry standards. The Safety Manager will conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and training sessions to promote a culture of safety within the organisation.
Duties
- As the Health & Safety Manager, you will develop and implement comprehensive safety programmes that align with organisational goals.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports on safety incidents, including root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
- Organise and deliver training sessions on health and safety practices for all employees.
- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation and recommend improvements as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related inquiries and concerns.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Health & Safety Manager with Manufacturing.
- NEBOSH or IOSHH qualified.
- Excellent Communication & I.T Skills.
