Contracts Manager - Coventry ( Service & Repair )

Purpose of the Role/Role Overview:

To lead and manage resources across the regional installs team including and subcontractors /
specialist trades to deliver:
? Quality boiler installs including responsive installs and planned programme as per client
specification
? Client objectives / KPIs
? Achievement of profit targets
? Maintain strong relationships with clients and highest standards of customer care
? To think and act operationally and strategically with a constant eye on achieving high
performance standards, meeting the business and clients expectation
General Duties/Key Responsibilities:
? To report and work closely with the Regional Operations Manager (Installs) / Operations Director
to ensure full operational duties in your regional / contract area
? Cost Management / Parts Analysis including reviewing parts ordered and costs, timesheets and
invoicing, ensure month end complete no later than working day 5.
? Managing and monitoring staffing levels and annual leave, sickness and other absences.

Job Description

? Responsible for making sure all company procedures are adhered to and implement
improvement were necessary.
? To ensure all KPIs are met along with contractual compliance
? Work and deliver within set budgets
? Responsible for customer services including complaint resolution
? Work closely with the Regional Operations Manager, Operations Director, and HR team to
ensure best practice in all areas of people management including and not limited to; recruitment,
selection, enforcing policies and procedures and monitoring staffing levels, attendance, annual
leave, absences. Taking responsibility for all leave requests whilst following company
procedures.
? Monitor materials usage and returns
? Responsible for all financial invoicing on time and chargeable extra over work is collated and
invoiced
? Maintain our reputation for producing top level performance
? Take full responsibility on no access procedure
? Work with fellow managers within the group to facilitate the achievement of the groups objectives
? Be responsible for the monitoring and management of all aspects of Health, Safety and
Environmental Management within area of responsibility
? Client relationship / Client management, attend client meeting build & maintain good working
relationship with the client, look to increase work streams & chase debt to ensure payments
received in timely manner
? Handle all forms of feedback from customers and clients and take appropriate action; take a lead
on championing customer service.
? Ensure the fleet of your team is kept to a high standard. Working with the fleet department when
necessary, reporting any issues as they happen.
? Playing a key role when taking on new contracts, with the ability to put your own personal stamp
on the situation.
? Performance data production, analysis and reporting
? Ensure your team is fully up-to-date with all Gas Safe Legislation, Health and Safety
Awareness, delivered through face-to-face tool box talks on a monthly basis as a minimum, and
when required.
? Developing and coaching your team
? Onboarding of new starters, taking responsibility for ensuring all required documents are in place
and for induction and training.
? Leading and engaging the team to create a positive environment to work in, whilst encouraging
the team to take ownership of their responsibilities and projects.
? Ensure processing of salary information to payroll in set timescales.
? Ensuring availability for meetings where applicable.
? Drive employee engagement and managing employee retention.
