eLearning Manager - Hybrid Role

Company: Skillshub A leading provider of innovative, results-driven digital learning solutions, offering bespoke and off-the-shelf eLearning content and platforms to help businesses drive performance and engagement.


Location: Hybrid (mainly remote, with office attendance for meetings)


Responsibilities:

  • Manage an internal and external team of contractors (e.g., designers, developers, and instructional designers)
  • Write, review, and quality-check scripts for learning modules
  • Negotiate rates with suppliers and contractors
  • Oversee and lead the creation and development of eLearning courses, ensuring they meet company standards and learning outcomes
  • Organise to get content accredited with relevant awarding bodies
  • Create and implement eLearning release plans, ensuring timelines are met
  • Project manage client programmes from initial conception to delivery, ensuring projects are on time and within budget
  • Support the sales team by acting as a subject matter expert for eLearning products and services
  • Support on video and face-to-face calls to help close deals
  • Conduct quality assurance checks, including reviewing content for consistency, accuracy, and adherence to educational goals
  • Monitor industry trends and ensure all content is compliant with current regulations and standards, particularly with any changes in legislation
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of eLearning programmes through analytics and feedback, using data to drive improvements in future courses
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, customer service and marketing
  • Help structure new content plans by researching trends and feedback from prospects and clients
  • Support in producing marketing materials


Requirements:

  • Degree in multimedia, project management, or a related field
  • Proven experience managing outsourced teams and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly organised with proficiency in eLearning software (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, adhering to budgets and able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and work efficiently under pressure
  • Knowledge of current trends in eLearning and the ability to adapt content accordingly
  • Being seen as a role model as part of the management team of the business
  • This is a fast paced role that requires forward thinking and planning
