Reed Accountancy is delighted to be supporting our Coventry based client with the recruitment of a Credit Controller.

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Credit Control Specialist to manage full credit control duties for several trading companies, each with separate customer accounts and high value balances. 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently handle debit and credit payments as required.
  • Manage and provide monthly statements.
  • Issue reminder debt collection letters.
  • Set up and administer credit insurance.
  • Cash flow forecasting.
  • Communicate verbally with customers regarding overdue amounts.
  • Take ownership of managing outstanding debts.
  • Effectively and efficiently manage allocated accounts, building strong working relationships with clients.
  • Prioritise departmental workloads to ensure timely and efficient delivery of information and reports required by the business.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in credit control.
  • Experience with Sage 50 is desirable.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A good problem solver with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrates being a willing team player.
  • Organised, hard-working, and reliable.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK Driving License due to the location of sites.
