Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Management: Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring timely and efficient collection of outstanding balances.
  • Customer Relations: Establish and maintain strong client relationships, addressing any billing queries and ensuring effective communication.
  • Debt Recovery: Proactively chase overdue payments via phone, email, and written correspondence, following up as necessary.
  • Credit Checks: Conduct credit checks on new clients and review existing clients’ credit limits.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting aged debts and potential risks.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to streamline the credit control process.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar Credit Control role
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with credit management software (e.g., SAP, Sage, etc.) is an advantage
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
