Long Term Futures is seeking a compassionate, approachable, and nurturing Teaching Assistant to provide support for children in Reception. The school is looking for someone versatile who can confidently work across whole-class settings, small groups, and on a one-to-one basis. This role is based at an Ofsted-rated 'Good' Primary School in Central Coventry and is offered on a long-term basis, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.

The Role:

  • Assist the class teacher with teaching and learning activities in the classroom.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment where all children can thrive.
  • Lead phonics sessions to enhance pupils' literacy skills.
  • Provide tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Who we are looking for:

  • Hold Cache/NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Must have experience working within a childcare or Primary setting.
  • Knowledge of EYFS curriculum
  • Have a genuine passion for teaching and learning.
  • Be committed to raising attainment, aspiration, and self-esteem of pupils.
  • Experience working with children with SEN.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
