Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant with recent experience working with children and a passion for special education?

We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled professionals to support students in primary, secondary and special schools across the Exhall, Ash Green, Keresley, and surrounding areas. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering engaging and effective lessons tailored to the needs of students with special educational needs (often pre-planned).
  • Provide 1:1 support or work with small groups to address individual learning needs and enhance student progress.
  • Adapt quickly to various classroom environments and school cultures, ensuring continuity of support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere that supports student well-being and development.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
  • Collaborate closely with school staff to support student learning and emotional well-being.

  • Day-to-Day Cover: Flexible roles that fit your schedule and preferences.

Requirements:

  • Level 2+ Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant qualification or equivalent (Desirable)
  • Recent experience working with children in special educational settings (Desirable)
  • Strong understanding of special educational needs and the ability to adapt to various teaching environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to supporting students.
  • SEND experience or training
  • Passionate about providing high-quality support to students and contributing to their educational journey.
