Are you experienced working with early years and KS2?
Long Term Futures are seeking an adaptable and experienced Early Years Teacher to join their school and assist learning in a Nursery class in the mornings and Year 6 in the afternoon. This role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become permanent for the right person.
Main Duties Within the Role:
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging sessions to children in Nursery in the mornings and Year 6 in the afternoon.
- Monitor and record the progress of students to feedback to appropriate staff and parents.
- Experience running interventions and leading small group learning.
- Remain adaptable throughout the day when switching from EYFS to KS2 curriculum.
- Be able to build and maintain relationships with students and staff.
What are the school looking for?
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
- Experience of supporting and learning within Early Years and KS2.
- Excellent classroom control and behaviour management skills.
- 1 year experience working in a school environment desired.
- The ability to meet the needs of SEN children in the class.
