Business Analyst

A leading manufacturing of solutions for the construction sector is seeking a Business Analyst, initially this is a fixed term contract position with a hybrid working format. The Role

The Business Analyst will initially work on a Fixed Term Contract basis to support a range of projects and sustainment functions for the various data groups with the business.

Key functions include:

Maintaining and ensuring the quality of company data.

You will troubleshoot existing reports to identify and correct any issues, acting as help desk for reporting function and support business by collaborating with the existing team to provide reporting solutions.

The Business Analyst will collaborate with the business to spotlight areas for data enhancement, bringing innovative solutions to life and optimize data accuracy with streamlined automation and user-friendly processes.

You will conduct data health checks and implement data rules to check the quality of data across key data element and support the creation of reports and visualisation solutions that provide interpretation and insight into business data and processes.

The Business Analyst will use Power Query as a business intelligence tool to support the above functions.


The Person

The ideal candidate for the role will be an Advanced level or Super User level on Excel who is able to work with complex formulae and SQL databases linking multiple worksheets to create consolidated reports.

You will be able to consolidate data from multiple sources, Excel, PowerBI, manufacturing systems. Additionally, you will provide ad hoc support to the IT team where applicable.

The role is initially on a Fixed Term basis for approximately nine months with a high potential to develop into a permanent role.
