A leading provider of calibration services is seeking a talented Calibration Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Coventry. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a growing industry.

About the Role:

As a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for the calibration of electrical and mechanical, torque, force, and pressure gauges within a UKAS-accredited laboratory. You will also be required to carry out on-site calibrations at customer premises approximately 25% of the time.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring calibration activities adhere to BS EN ISO 17025:2017 standards
  • Maintaining accurate measurement results and generating calibration certificates
  • Providing technical advice and support to customers
  • Reviewing and approving calibration certificates and reports
  • Liaising with senior management to optimize laboratory efficiency

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess a qualification in electrical calibration, electrical systems, or electronics. However, candidates with strong practical experience in electrical calibration, electronics, or electrical repair will also be considered.

A keen eye for detail, a methodical approach to work, and excellent problem-solving skills are essential. You should also be a confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
