Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and knowledge of EN ISO 13849-1 and EN ISO 13849-2 standards.
The successful applicant will be responsible for interpreting customer requirements and presenting innovative design solutions, ideally holding an HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
The position offers enhanced pay for hours worked beyond 37.5 per week and is accessible from various locations in the West Midlands.

Samuel Frank is recruiting an Electrical Design Engineers with EPLAN experience to join a successful specialist engineering business based in Warwickshire.

Key aspects of the Electrical Design Engineer role include -

Design electrical and control systems for a range of projects using EPLAN Electric and EPLAN Pro Panel software
Successful Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for generating various diagrams including GAs, single and multi-line diagrams, PLC overview, terminal diagrams, cable overview and diagrams and parts lists etc.
Good knowledge of producing calculations including volt drop calculations
Role will suit an Electrical Design Engineer with at least 5 years relevant/recent experience with EPLAN as a Design Engineer
Knowledge of EN ISO 13849-1 and EN ISO 13849-2
Experienced in the innovative design of automated machinery for manufacturing environments and the generation and verification of electrical design documents
Interpretation of customer requirements and presentation of design solutions
Knowledge of British and international standards relative to the design and installation of industrial automation systems.
Experience of conducting assessments and generating technical documents in accordance with the Machinery Directive and other British and international standards
This position will suit an innovator who is constantly looking for solutions that give maximum value.
Ideally HNC / HND or Degree qualified in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
In terms of safety hardware validation, ideally have SISTEMA experience (or PAScal)
Full UK driving licence
All hours worked over 37.5 per week between Monday-Friday will be paid at flat rate with enhanced rates for nay hours worked on Saturdays/Sundays/Bank Holidays

The clients premises are commutable from the following locationsin the West Midlands; Coventry, Warwick, Solihull, Rugby, Nuneaton, Daventry, Birmingham, Tamworth, Redditch and Stratford-upon-Avon.
