My client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers within its field of specialist metal components. The company is a well established with almost 50 years of experience and is a producer to a wide variety of markets. The Coventry site is looking to recruit an additional engineer, once again to expand due to further investment, within this globally secure organisation.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, working on several manufacturing processes, driven by PLC automated machinery. The ideal candidate will come from an engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with an electrical qualification minimum of 17th/18th edition wiring regulations, but ideally multi-skilled and have ideally PLC experience. Also, able, and willing to be involved in general mechanical work on drives, invertors, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
