Typical duties will involve:
- Carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Diagnosing and resolving faults on robotic cells, conveyor systems, AGVs, and EMS systems.
- Supporting continuous improvement (CI/Kaizen) initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Collaborating with contractors on new equipment installations and ensuring compliance with HSE standards.
- Working with PLC systems (Siemens TIA) and ABB robotics, making programming adjustments to improve performance.
Experience required:
- HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
- Time-served apprenticeship covering electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems (NVQ Level 3 minimum).
- Experience in PLC fault finding and programming.
- Hands-on experience with robotics, automated systems, and industrial control systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
