The Role of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias), you will be responsible for maintaining the company's buildings, plants, and equipment at their Coventry facilities. This is a hands-on role that will see you working across a variety of electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring the smooth operation of the company's operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete the site's Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programme
- Attend and resolve breakdowns on plant and equipment
- Oversee and manage external contractors on-site
- Maintain building services in line with legislation and site expectations
- Maintain EHS equipment and systems
- Maintain detailed maintenance service records
- Time-served multi-skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Electrical background with knowledge of BS 7671
- Understanding of hydraulic systems and compression moulding presses
- Ability to fault-find on electrical and mechanical systems
- City & Guilds, HNC, or ONC qualifications (desirable)
- Forklift truck licence (desirable)
- MEWP licence (desirable)
