You will be responsible for leading projects and motivating your team to design and develop control software for Siemens S7 and TIA based programmable control systems together with Rockwell, Bosch Rexroth CoDeSys and other PLC and Safety systems.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Control Engineer / Team Leader. Projects are varied within the Automotive, Food & Beverage, Aerospace, Pharmaceutical and Logistics sectors.

Senior Control Engineer / Team Leader - The Role:
- If you have at least 5 years of experience designing and writing PLC and HMI software for industrial applications from first principals and are ready to face the challenge to join a dynamic controls department within a long-established and respected control system engineering company in the Midlands, we would love to hear from you.

- The position will involve working from either Coventry or Hinckley offices to manage the control systems software team of 8 Engineers.
Senior Control Engineer / Team Leader - The Person:
- 5+ years of writing plc software from first principles.
- Ideally SIEMENS S7 classic and/or TIA and Rockwell Studio 5000
- Experience writing safety software and validating this against a safety matrix
- VFD drives configuration and setting up
- STL and or IL coding experience
- ProfiNet systems or similar
- Ability to read electrical drawings
- Documentation such as FDS, O&M manuals, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence
Located in Coventry or Hinckley with hybrid working and flexible hours.
