A global leader in Defence is seeking multiple Senior Electrical Engineers to work on the development of the newest generation of nuclear submarines, focusing on internal communication systems.
Candidates should have a relevant STEM degree or equivalent experience, along with demonstrable experience in various engineering lifecycle phases.
The role involves delivering technical input and engineering solutions, supporting documentation for design reviews, and managing defect resolution and change management.
Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in system or equipment design related to communications or electronics, as well as strong technical report writing skills.
Applicants must be eligible for UK defence security clearance to SC level, and the salary for this position is competitive based on experience.

I am currently recruiting for multiple Senior Electrical Engineers who will be working on the newest generation of nuclear submarines beginning development, looking in particular at internal communication systems.

The Role:

You will be supporting the delivery of technical input and engineering solutions of build activities, defect resolution and change management, understanding the contractual and performance requirements for various systems, and support the definition and associated acceptance criteria and events through design, build, integration, installation and commissioning activities, and supporting the production of documentation required for the design review process, including: diagrams; technical specifications; supporting calculations; design evidence and justifications.

Skills and experience:

A relevant Science, Technology, Engineering or, Mathematics (STEM) Degree or equivalent qualification and experience within an engineering background
Demonstrable experience of working in different engineering lifecycle phases
Ideally a proven track record of system or equipment design in communications and / or electronics
Technical report writing skills and experienced in requirements definition and management
