Electrical Maintenance Engineer

3 - Shift

To £44K + Paid Overtime + Pension + Life Assurance

Are you a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge? Do you thrive on solving technical issues, keeping equipment running smoothly, and minimising downtime?

Working on a rotational 6-2, 2-10, 10-6 shift pattern you will work within a close-knit maintenance team ensuring that machinery and equipment run smoothly, whilst also driving continuous improvement activites across processes.

Key Tasks:

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance, respond quickly to breakdowns and support emergency repairs
  • Analyse downtime, improve equipment performance and suggest innovative solutions
  • Input programs into HMI and ensure all software is backed up
  • Upload parameters to inverter drives
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations while minimising risks and ensuring the smooth operation of machinery

Requirements:

  • Apprentice trained Electrical / Multi-skilled engineer
  • Experience of maintenance in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge/experience of PLC fault finding, ideally Siemens S7
  • Knowledge/experience of Robot fault finding, ABB/Fanuc - advantageous
  • Strong fault finding / diagnostic skills, able to fix technical issues quickly and effectively
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication skills
