FACTORY LABOURER REQUIRED IN COVENTRY!!

Do you have previous experience working in a manufacturing business, and are you happy doing a duel role that involves both production/workshop duties, as well as cleaning and maintaining the factory workshop?!

We are looking for a Factory Labourer to join an automotive manufacturing business in Coventry, the working hours are 8.00am-16.30pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), and the company are looking for someone to join them on a permanent basis.

This will be a hands-on role that will involve some heavy lifting and working at heights on occasions, the hiring manager is also looking for someone who has a Full UK Driving License as you may be required undertake some collections and delivery to and from customers.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the workshop, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Operate all equipment according to relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Securely store equipment and tools, and dispose of site waste in accordance with company policies.
  • Perform manual labour assistance on various tasks and assignments as directed by line management.
  • Operate basic power tools such as steam cleaners and floor cleaners, contributing to the upkeep of facilities.
  • Undertake collections and deliveries as required, holding a valid full driving licence.

What You Will Bring:

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
  • You MUST hold a Full UK Driving License
  • Knowledge of QHSE Legislation, demonstrating a commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • A willingness to follow instructions and learn new tasks, showing adaptability and eagerness to grow.
  • Physical fitness and practical skills, capable of handling manual tasks efficiently.
  • Experience working in a team, with good interpersonal abilities and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work at heights of approximately 6ft with appropriate PPE, ensuring safety at all times.
