Overview

Mitchell Adam is delighted to be recruiting a Finance Analyst for a rapidly growing and internationally recognised engineering firm. Based in Coventry, this company operates nationally and offers an excellent opportunity to join its large, highly regarded finance team. In this bespoke role, you'll gain significant exposure to financial reporting, management accounts, and business partnering.

Every day in this position will be unique. The successful candidate will benefit from exceptional training delivered by industry experts, ensuring a smooth transition into the sector. In this role, you will take ownership of a specific region, conducting in-depth reporting on their projects. A confident individual with a knack for delivering insightful analysis and commentary will excel here, as the role involves preparing financial statements, creating budgets and forecasts, and reconciling balance sheets.

Skills Required

  • Previous experience with prepayments, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Part-qualified in ACCA/CIMA with plans to achieve full qualification.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a diverse range of stakeholders, including those outside of finance.
  • Prior experience with project-based work is desirable but not essential.
