This company pride themselves on delivering exceptional service their valued existing and ever expanding customer base. They are now seeking a motivated, accurate and team orientated Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their in house team. This role will see you overseeing two members of the Accounts Payable team, managing workload and conducting 1-2-1's. In this role you will be overseeing the Accounts Payable function, getting involved with a range of tasks and upcoming projects.This position comes with an annual salary of up to £28,000.Duties Include:

  • Leading the Accounts Payable team and managing workflow.
  • Ensuring invoices are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Negotiating contracts.
  • Communicating with suppliers, building relationships and resolving invoice or payment queries.
  • Supplier account reconciliations.
  • Assisting with month end processes.
  • Providing payment forecasts to assist with cash flow forecasting.
  • Creating details reports for management.
  • Providing ad hoc support to the wider finance teams.

Candidate Experience, Skills and Attributes:

  • Minimum of two years previous experience in an Accounts Payable role.
  • Previous experience managing or overseeing members of your team.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and be able to manipulate and analyse data.
  • Confident, accurate, reliable and be able to hit the ground running.
  • Good communication skills both internally and externally and able to investigate and resolve queries.
  • Organised and able to prioritise yours and your teams workload.
