Overview

A Multi-National organisation has approached Mitchell Adam for their assistance with their search for a talented and confident Assistant Finance Business Partner. This organisation are looking to expand their finance function and are looking to bring on a talented individual into this role where there is scope to become a Finance Business Partner. The organisation are based in Coventry and offer a hybrid working style alongside a competitive study support package. Their offices are accessible via car due to their free on-site car park.

As an Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will be working with a fully qualified Finance Business Partner and assisting them with their duties. This will include being a fundamental part of the budgeting and forecasting process and producing comprehensive reports on the financial health of various departments within the business. Alongside this, you will have some month end responsibilities such as conducting variance analysis and reconciliations, working on the balance sheet and the P&L. The business are looking for someone who is actively studying and pursuing their CIMA or ACCA qualification and provide a study support package which will support the successful applicant on their journey to becoming chartered.

Skills Required
  • To be confident and able to communicate in an effective manner. In this role you will be liaising with a number of senior stakeholders from both inside and outside the organisation. It is key to be able to communicate in an efficient way.
  • To be actively studying your ACCA or CIMA qualification, or to have a strong desire to become qualified in one of these qualifications.
  • To have a strong history of producing reports and conducting variance analysis, as this will be a fundamental part of this position.
  • To be confident in producing monthly management account packs, and to have a history of providing commentary to colleagues and management on your findings and work.
