Job Purpose- Undertake audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, from planning to completion
- Allocate audit work in the field and the office
- Prepare and review of statutory accounts
- Prepare tax computations when relevant to audit assignments
- Work closely with clients to build trusted relationships, being their go-to person for support
- Deliver a strong commercial awareness, reviewing opportunities for fee development
- Confidently present work to Partners, completing files to a high standard
- Underpin audit and accounts matters with current legislation and compliance
- Delegate work to and mentor an audit team, supporting their learning and development
- Represent the firm at networking opportunities and support the provision of marketing and sales services

- ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified with demonstrable experience in UK practice
- A wealth of experience leading audits from planning to completion
- Skilled in accounts preparation and leading all commercial aspects of portfolio management
- Proven track record of managing a team of accountants
- Excellent work ethic and hands-on approach
- Self-motivated, reliable and eager to progress
- Excellent communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
- Strong awareness of current affairs and emerging trends
