GreenwellGleeson are working with a £20m turnover business based in Warwickshire to assist them with the recruitment of a Finance Manager. This is an exciting time to join as they embark on the transformation of our finance and other systems. The Finance Manager will be the number 2 finance person on site reporting into the Head of Finance.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage the Purchase Ledger supervisor (PL team of 3) and the Bank and Credit Control Supervisor (CC team of 2). Take responsibility for the maintenance of accurate ledgers.Assist the HoF with establishing and maintaining strong financial systems and controls to ensure proper reporting of results on a timely basis.Assist HoF to review existing financial systems and make recommendations on potential streamlining and efficiencies.Assist the HoF with preparing budget, forecasts, variance analysis etcProduce monthly management accounts by site with analysis, commentary, variance reporting and comparison to budget for HoF review.Review monthly bank reconciliations.Create strong working relationships both internally and externally.Assist with the annual audit process.Any other ad hoc activities as required.Skills and QualificationsThe successful candidate should have.Part Qualified or qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience.All round technical ability, including financial reporting and taxation.Experience of the Sage50 accounting system.Experience with groups or multi profit centre businessesStrong IT skills, including all Microsoft Office programmes.Experience of preparing and reporting financial results.Strong systems background and systems implementation experience.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Excellent reporting and presentation skills, both verbal and written.The ability to analyse and interpret financial information.Strong questioning and investigative skills.The ability to manage and work effectively with people at all levels of the organisation.The ability to work well under pressure and to work to deadlines.Greenwell Gleeson Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.To find out more about how and why Greenwell Gleeson Ltd process your personal data in line with the data protection regime please go to the privacy notice on our website www.greenwellgleeson.co.uk
