Role: Finance Systems Manager
Location: Midlands, 2/3-day hybrid split
Salary: circa £70,000 - £75,000 + Bonus + Health + Pension

This role will provide leadership in the delivery of projects related to the organisations Finance Systems estate, as well as directly line managing a small team to ensure accurate System and Process Design. This role will lead on stakeholder engagement, and will be highly visible across the business
This role is suited to a proven Finance Systems Manager, or a Senior Systems Accountant / Project Accountant that is looking for their next career step. Preferable to have come from a Finance background and moved into Systems / Projects. We will consider people from a Tech background also.
Areas of responsibility:
- Leading the delivery aspect of system upgrades, improvements and technical projects relating to the Finance ERP
- Ensuring that Finance requirements of the business are achieved, and ability to challenge thinking to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions
- Line managing the Project team, which also cover BAU
- Leading role on 3rd party management, and working closely with suppliers
- Ensuring all testing requirements are achieved
- Ensuring businesses process that are implemented meet relevant requirements and controls
Experience:
- Proven lead or managerial role within Finance Systems transformation / projects
- Knowledge or a Finance ERP, and business process (could be any large-scale Finance ERP, SAP, Dynamics, Coins, Oracle)
- Experienced in Finance System Reporting / Data & Analytics
- Strong knowledge / background in Finance, Accounting principles and procedures
Flexible hybrid role, likely operating 3/2 between in office and remote. Commutable from most key Midlands based locations, including Birmingham, Nottingham, Coventry, Solihull, Derby, Walsall, Northampton, Leicester, East Midlands and more.
