Financial Controls Accountant

Based in Coventry (Hybrid Working)

Salary - £50,000 - £60,000

Investigo are delighted to be exclusively working with this growing engineering/manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Coventry (off the M69)

A brand new role reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for a improvement on payment controls, cash flow and balance sheets. Alongside that responsible for management of all bank accounts across 6 legal entities.

Main Duties

  • Cash flow forecasting for the Group
  • Take charge of financial controls, implementing effective processes to drive efficiency
  • Monitor and control movement of funds within the Group
  • Consolidation of management accounts at Group level
  • Month end balance sheet reconciliations review and agree action plans with Finance Managers
  • Assisting with the external financial audit

Other Duties

  • Assisting with ad-hoc projects in the Finance department

Skills and Attributes

  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Experience in statutory reporting (desirable)
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills as communication is key
  • IT literate

Qualification and Experience

  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
  • Good Microsoft Office knowledge including Advanced Excel
  • Good working knowledge of an ERP system (desirable)
  • Experience of working in manufacturing (desirable)
