Day-to-day of the role:
  • Financial Strategy Development: Craft and execute financial strategies that bolster the company’s growth and profitability.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage the preparation of comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, aligning them with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement effective management strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and professional development.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with senior management and other departments to provide critical financial insights that aid in strategic decision-making.
  • Cost Control: Oversee cost monitoring and control processes, identifying and implementing cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
  • Investment Analysis: Analyse and evaluate investment opportunities, providing strategic recommendations to enhance business growth and profitability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Education: Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is essential.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in a senior finance role, ideally within the technology sector.
  • Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in financial management software and tools.
